Description
History - the boat was built in Pine Castle, Florida (near Orlando) by Correct Craft. Correct Craft was originally known as Pine Castle Boat and Construction Company. Today their popular brand is Ski Nautique. In the beginning, we think the boat was operated out of Cypress Gardens, Florida. It made its way to Flathead Lake in western Montana in the early 1970's. In the late 70's the boat was restored in Woods Bay, Montana by Tweto Craft Boat Works. Doug and Dave Tweto have maintained the boat through various owners since the early 1970's to the mid 1990's. Sometime in the early 1980's the boat was shown once by the 3rd owner and once by the 4th owner in a classic wood boat show. The 4th owner relocated to the desert but left the boat with a friend in Woods Bay sometime in the mid 1990's. In the late 1990's the friend moved the boat out of his barn and left it tarped outside. The tarp deteriorated. The boat in 2001 was then moved to a commercial indoor storage facility until we purchased it in April of 2004 as an ongoing restoration project. The boat has been kept in a private indoor heated garage from April 2004 until present. We believe we are the fifth owner.
