Description
Splendid, unique 1952 Greavette runabout. Truly unique and practical boat for you and the family with a no-soak bottom and a 1970’s Chris Craft V8. This boat was restored by a well known expert in Georgia after sitting for years unused in the northeast. During restoration, the cockpit was changed to the elegant S cockpit and herringbone floor boards found on most Greavette Streamliners that sell for well over $100,000. This layout offers plenty of seating but also easy access and beautiful lines. Owner states there is a 5200 no-soak bottom installed in 2010 by Tom Neff who is owner of Neff's Classic Boats - a reputable restoration organization located in Atlanta GA.

Spray (believed to be the original name of the boat) still carries her original hardware including nameplates, a siren, and searchlight. With a wide beam and beautiful lines, this boat glides across open water and can handle chop better than most old boats.

The boat was repowered at some point with an early ‘70’s Chris Craft which showed good compression in all 8 cylinders during a survey. The hull is in excellent shape as are the floorboards. The deck is in good shape with some scratches and checking.

Seller has invested more than $5,000 in improvements, including an engine out service, new prop shaft, new fuel tank, battery switch, and windshield. Seller also had a custom boat cover made at a cost of approx. $1500. A Chris Craft trailer is included in the sale.

This boat has been lovingly kept on a lift in a covered dock and enjoyed regularly with no fuss. However, changing family needs now necessitate the sale of this special boat.
