Run About Vintage

A rare 1932: 16’ Chris Craft (fits in garage), model 300, with trailer. Two-Tone Mahogany, with twin cockpits. Red bottom, red seats, original fixtures, in beautiful shape.
Length: 16 feet
Beam: 64”

Hull Number: 15534

Boat was restored and then purchased through the Antique Boat Center in Cincinnati, Ohio,in 2006 in show condition. Bottom was replaced some years before with a “3M 5200” Bottom. Minor work was performed on the engine to tune it up by the Antique Boat Center, prior to its departure to California. It has sat in the current owner’s garage in Balboa, Newport Beach, Calif since then. Boat had always been a fresh water boat, and was never placed in the water again after its relocation to California. The Boat has sat on its trailer, under cover, in a sealed garage, since 2006. As a result, the boat needs a new battery, old gas replaced, and likely a through lubrication of its engine. But its in beautiful shape, the same condition as when it arrived.
Engine work in 2006 included repair or replacement of Coil lead, water pump gasket, new fuel tank, fuel/water separator, Carburetor, in line fuel filter, new water pump gaskets, etc. by the Antique Boat Center.
I have the Notarized Bill of Sale From the last Owner, and supporting documents of purchase, purchased through Antique Boat Center as Broker. Never bothered to license the boat in California and obtain a pink slip since the boat was never placed in the water here.
