Description
1970 fully restored Chris Craft XK19 V-Drive. One of about 75 ever made. I spared no expence in the restoration. To start I had a 400ci small block chevy rebuilt and installed all the original Chris Craft hardware and plumbing on it. It looks original. (see engine details). I have the original numbers matching 327 that is also rebuilt and goes with the boat. All chrome was replated by Advanced Plating in Nashville. The air horns are Kahlenberg. New Stewart Warner marine gages just like the originals. The dash and side panels are real teak venier. The flooring is teak and holly sole. Both got 7 coats of clear poly. The floor had the old white Chris Craft vinyl that looked terrible. The hull is now bonded with fiberglass to the deck of the boat and all supports under the deck have been reinforced. Every screw, washer and nut and bolts are stainless.. Now here is the best part of the boat. The boat has got a complete rejellcoating to the factory color by one of the top fiberglass companies in the southeast. This is not paint!!! The price was $20,000.00. The trailer is an Eagle tandem with surge disc brakes. I had it painted with Emron that matches the boat so it will never rust or chip. This boat has been in my family since it was new. It was purchased at Bald Ridge marina here in Cumming in 1970 and has never left Lake Lanier which is a freshwater lake. I even have the original owners manuals in the original plastic Chris Craft pouch that was screwed under the rear seat. I am sure I am leaving out more info about the boat but you just got to see it to see how impressive it looks.

Engine Work
Everything on this boat is perfect. As i stated in the description the engine in the boat is a 400ci chevy but have the rebuilt 327 numbers matching original engine. The 400 is a 4 bolt main with Eagle forged crank, rods and pistons. Has Stainless valves and was built, balanced and blue printed by Heintz Bros. Performance in Concord NC. This company builds stock car engines. The cost was over $5,000. You can't tell it from the stock engine. It really makes the boat perform better.
